Fenix TK15R with a maximum output of up to 3200 lumens brings the unique smart IRIS X sensor as one of the few handheld flashlights in the world. This innovative technology automatically adjusts the flashlight's output based on ambient light and the distance of the illuminated object. What does this mean in practice? When using the IRIS X mode, you won't be blinded by annoying reflections from a nearby wall, obstacle, or when reading a map – the flashlight instantly and automatically reduces brightness. But as soon as you aim into an open dark space, it immediately unleashes extreme power up to 2000 lumens. Thanks to the top-tier Luminus SFT70 LED, it can shine up to an impressive distance of 490 meters. For perfect control in crisis situations, there is a tactical tail switch complemented by an intuitive side rotary switch. This allows seamless switching between standard Duty mode, smart IRIS X mode, and flashlight lockout.
The head of the flashlight is equipped with a strike bezel, so it can be used for breaking glass or self-defense. The rugged design with dual spring battery suspension guarantees flawless use in the most demanding conditions. The flashlight is powered by one high-capacity Li-ion 21700 5000 mAh battery (included). It is charged directly in the flashlight via a modern USB-C connector with fast charging support (up to 21 W) and provides energy for more than 68 hours of illumination. The unyielding and waterproof design makes this smart tactical flashlight ideal primarily for harsh outdoor conditions, professionals, armed forces, rescue operations, and hunters.
All flashlight parameters (luminous flux, battery life, waterproofness, beam distance, and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Using the TK15R Flashlight
From the factory, there may be an insulation cap on the battery inside. Remove it before first use.
On/Off: When the flashlight is unlocked, fully press the tactical tail switch to turn it on/off. For momentary activation, half-press the switch. Turn the side rotary switch to the middle position to enter Lockout mode and turn off the flashlight.
Switching modes: Use the side rotary switch to cycle through modes: IRIS X Mode <-> Lockout <-> Duty Mode. In Duty mode, press the side functional button to cycle through output levels (30 - 350 - 1000 - 3200 lumens). In IRIS X mode, press the functional button to switch between automatic IRIS X and 150 lumens. To activate Strobe, press and hold the side functional button for 0.5 seconds (the flashlight must be on and unlocked).
IRIS X logic: The sensor module in the reflector automatically adjusts brightness based on ambient light. Below 5 lux (total darkness), it runs at maximum. At around 70 lux (dim basement), it outputs 1500 lumens. At 100 lux (office), it outputs about 800 lumens. If an obstacle is close (approx. 10 cm), the output automatically drops to 30 lumens to prevent blinding reflection.
Intelligent overheat protection - due to the extreme output, the flashlight temperature increases. If the temperature exceeds 55°C, it will automatically step down the output. Once the temperature drops below 55°C, full power can be used again.
Battery level indication - the flashlight always indicates battery status for three seconds after turning on. Green indicates 100% - 85%, flashing green (85% - 50%), solid red (50% - 25%), and flashing red means critically low battery (less than 25%). If voltage drops below the preset level, the flashlight will step down to a lower brightness level.
Charging - uncover the rubber dust cap on the charging port and plug in the included cable (USB-C), then plug the other end into a computer or USB wall/car adapter (supporting up to 21 W). The side indicator glows red during charging. Once fully charged, it turns green. Charging a fully depleted battery takes approx. 1.5 hours (using a 9V/3A adapter). Carefully seal the cap after charging is complete.
Warnings
- Use only high-quality rechargeable 21700 batteries with protective electronics.
- Remove the battery or lock the flashlight to prevent accidental activation during storage or transport.
- When replacing the battery, unscrew the flashlight head and insert the battery with the positive pole facing the head. Then fully tighten the head.
- If the protective rubber O-rings appear damaged after long-term use, replace them. The rings must also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. Following these rules will properly protect the flashlight against water.
- If the flashlight flickers, does not switch to higher modes, or does not turn on, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The battery is depleted - charge or replace it.
- The contacts inside the flashlight are dirty – clean them with a cotton swab soaked in alcohol.
- The head of the flashlight is loose - tighten it.
Warranty
Five years warranty on the flashlight and two years on the battery.
