The Fenix GL30R tactical rechargeable LED flashlight is designed specifically for use on long guns. It offers a top lighting performance of 800 ANSI lumens with an extreme beam distance of up to 630 meters. The flashlight is powered by a single 18650 Li-ion battery with a capacity of 3400 mAh, which is recharged directly in the flashlight via a multifunctional USB-C port and is included in the package. Alternatively, two disposable lithium CR123A batteries can be used. The flashlight is controlled by a tactical tail switch or the included AER-07 remote cable switch. The remote switch connects to the USB-C port and features a locking slider to prevent accidental activation. Mounting on a weapon is highly versatile – the flashlight comes with mounts for the standard Picatinny rail (MIL-STD-1913) as well as the M-Lok system, allowing for flexible installation in both direct (in-line) and offset positions. This makes the flashlight a perfect tool for professionals, armed forces, sports shooters, hunters, and airsoft enthusiasts.
All flashlight parameters (lumen output, battery runtime, waterproofing, and beam distance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Operating the Fenix GL30R Flashlight
From the factory, there may be an insulation slip on the battery inside the flashlight. Remove it before first use.
The flashlight can be operated either by its tactical tail switch on the body or the included AER-07 remote pressure switch. Note: If you turn the flashlight on with one switch, it cannot be turned off with the other.
Tail switch operation: For constant-on, fully press the switch (until it clicks). For momentary-on, lightly press and hold the switch. The flashlight turns off when released.
AER-07 remote switch operation: Connect the switch to the USB-C port and secure the connector by twisting it. The switch has two buttons and a locking slider (to prevent accidental activation). A single click of the button switch turns the flashlight permanently on/off. Pressing and holding the silent pressure pad turns the flashlight on momentarily (it only stays on while pressed).
Charging the flashlight - open the rubber cover of the USB-C port (or disconnect the remote switch) and use the included cable to plug it into a computer, USB wall adapter, or USB car adapter (not included). Any mobile phone charger with a USB-C connector can also be used. During charging, the indicator LED near the port glows red, and when fully charged, it turns green. Charging a fully depleted battery takes about 2 hours. Warning: Do not charge the flashlight if you are using disposable CR123A batteries inside.
Battery level indication - when the flashlight is turned on, the LED indicator activates for 3 seconds. If it lights up green, the battery is more than 85% charged. Green flashing means 50-85%. Red lighting means 25-50%. Red flashing indicates less than 25% capacity remaining. (This function is only active when using a Li-ion battery).
Replacing the battery - unscrew the head of the flashlight and insert the battery with the positive pole pointing outward (toward the head). Then fully tighten the head again.
Intelligent overheat protection - if the flashlight's temperature exceeds 60 °C, the output will automatically decrease. Once the temperature drops below the safe limit, the performance will gradually increase again.
Warnings
- Use only high-quality rechargeable batteries or branded CR123A batteries to prevent damage to the flashlight, for example, from battery leakage.
- When using the flashlight on a weapon, observe all safety guidelines.
- Insert the batteries with the positive pole pointing towards the flashlight head.
- The flashlight accumulates a large amount of heat; ensure safe use to avoid burns.
- When transporting in luggage or storing, remove the battery or slightly unscrew the flashlight head to prevent accidental activation.
- If the flashlight flickers, operates at low power, or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The battery is dead – replace or charge it.
- The contacts inside the flashlight are dirty – clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
Warranty
Five-year warranty on the flashlight. Two years on the battery and remote switch.
