The Fenix TK28R is an extra-powerful flashlight in the TK series, providing you with a light output of up to 6500 lumens (ANSI) and the ability to cut through darkness at a distance of up to 400 meters. Behind this impressive power is a unique combination of a wide and long-range reflector with two powerful Luminus SST-70 and SFT-70 LEDs. In addition to its dazzling white light, the TK28R is also equipped with a strong red light with an output of up to 260 lumens. Power is supplied by a pair of robust 18650 type batteries, each with a capacity of 4000 mAh (included in the package), which you can conveniently recharge directly in the flashlight via a modern USB-C connector. Operation is intuitive and lightning-fast thanks to the tactical switch and the innovative FlexiSensa control toggle lever. This allows not only for locking the flashlight against accidental activation but also for choosing between white and red light. Need maximum runtime? In its lowest mode, the TK28R will light your way for up to 102 hours. The flat design, thanks to its rectangular head and side-by-side battery placement, ensures that the flashlight doesn't get in the way in a pocket, on a belt, or in a backpack, fits perfectly in the palm, and allows for a firm grip. Its robust, waterproof construction (IP68) is designed to withstand the toughest conditions, from downpours to extreme deployment. Whether you are a member of the security forces, participating in rescue missions, engaged in hunting, or looking for an uncompromising companion for your outdoor adventures, the Fenix TK28R is ready to exceed your expectations.
All flashlight parameters (luminous flux, battery runtime, waterproofness, beam distance, and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Using the Fenix TK28R Flashlight
From the factory, there may be an insulating cap on the batteries. Remove it before first use.
The FlexiSensa Control rotary switch at the tail of the flashlight can be used to select the desired lighting mode: white light – locked – red light.
Turning On/Off - When the flashlight is unlocked, press the main tactical button on the tail to turn it on; for momentary activation, half-press the button.
Switching Output Modes and Strobe - By pressing the secondary function button, you can cycle through the output modes of the selected light color at any time during operation. The maximum mode of 6500 lumens can be directly activated at any time on an unlocked flashlight by holding the main tactical button for 0.5 seconds. To switch to strobe mode while the light is on, hold the function button for 0.5 seconds. To turn the flashlight on directly in strobe mode, press and hold the function button.
Lock/Off Mode - When the flashlight is on, in any state, turn the rotary switch to the Lock/Off mode to turn off and lock the flashlight. The flashlight cannot be turned on by pressing the buttons in this mode.
Last Mode Memory - The flashlight has a memory and will always turn on in the last used mode, except for strobe.
Changing Batteries - Open the head of the flashlight and insert the batteries according to the polarity markings. Then close and secure the head again.
Charging - Slide the cover of the charging port on the tail of the flashlight, then connect the USB-C charging cable. The indicator in the function button glows red during charging and turns green when fully charged. If charging fails or the batteries are inserted incorrectly, the battery status indicator will flash red or remain off to alert the user to check the batteries. Using a powerful 9V/3A (27W) USB power source, completely discharged batteries will charge in about 1.5 hours; using a 5V/3A (15W) USB power source, they will charge in about 3 hours.
Battery Level Indication - Each time the flashlight is turned on, the indicator LED in the function button will activate for three seconds. If the indicator LED is solid green, the battery is more than 85% charged. Green flashing means 50-85% capacity. Solid red means 25-50% charged. Red flashing indicates that less than 25% of battery capacity remains.
Low-Voltage Warning - If the battery voltage drops below a preset level, the flashlight will downshift to a lower brightness level. After reaching the lowest output, the battery level indicator will start to flash red slowly to remind users to recharge or replace the battery in time.
Intelligent Overheat Protection - If the flashlight's temperature exceeds 60°C, the output will automatically decrease. Once the temperature drops below 60°C, the output will gradually increase again.
Warning
- Do not disassemble the sealed parts of the flashlight yourself, as this will void the warranty.
- Keep the flashlight out of the reach of children!
- Do not shine the flashlight directly into your own or anyone else's eyes!
- Never use batteries with different charge levels or different capacities.
- Lock the flashlight or loosen the body by a few turns to prevent accidental activation during storage or transport.
- If the protective rubber O-rings appear damaged after a long period of use, replace them. The O-rings should also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. Adhering to these rules will ensure the flashlight is properly protected against water.
- If the flashlight flickers, does not switch to higher output modes, or fails to turn on, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The batteries are nearly depleted – replace them.
- The contacts inside the flashlight or battery holder are dirty – clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
- The body of the flashlight is loose – add lubricant to the sealing O-rings and tighten it.
Warranty
Five-year warranty on the flashlight, two-year warranty on the batteries.
