The Fenix LD35R is a versatile flashlight equipped with three types of light: white, red, and blue for a wide range of scenarios. The main white light is provided by a top-of-the-line second-generation Luminus SST-40 LED with a maximum output of 1800 lumens and an impressive beam distance of up to 337 meters, so darkness will never be an obstacle. For flexible illumination of a workspace or surroundings, the flashlight is fitted with two powerful COB light strips on the side, which allow for both single-sided and full 360° area lighting. The flat tail cap hides a strong magnet for attaching to metal surfaces, which you will appreciate during repairs, camping, or workshop tasks. For emergency situations, the flashlight is equipped with a stainless steel strike bezel inlaid with ceramic tips for quickly shattering glass and for effective self-defense. Convenient and fast one-handed operation is ensured by a combination of a toggle switch and an electronic switch, and power is supplied by the included 3400 mAh 18650 battery, which is charged directly in the flashlight via a waterproof USB-C port. Thanks to its compact size and multifunctionality, the Fenix LD35R will become your capable helper for outdoor activities, work, and emergencies.
All flashlight parameters (luminous flux, battery life, waterproofness, beam distance, and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Using the Fenix LD35R Flashlight
From the factory, there may be an insulating tab on the battery inside the flashlight. Remove it from the battery before first use.
Turning on/off and switching power modes - To turn the light on or off, hold the button for about 0.5 seconds. You can switch power modes at any time during operation by briefly pressing the button.
Switching between the main light, side colored light, and side white light is done with the rotary selector.
Memory for the last set mode - In the main white light mode, the flashlight always turns on in the last selected output mode, except for Strobe. The side lights always turn on in their lowest mode.
Locking/Unlocking - To prevent accidental activation of the flashlight, e.g., in luggage, quickly double-press the button (the flashlight must be off). The flashlight will then blink in eco mode to signal it is locked. To unlock, double-press the button quickly again, and the flashlight will turn on in the lowest mode of the function currently selected by the rotary selector. Accidental activation can also be prevented by slightly unscrewing the tail cap.
Battery Replacement - Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight and insert the battery with the positive pole facing the head. Then, fully tighten the tail cap again.
Charging - Flip open the dust cover and plug the USB-C charging cable into the flashlight's charging port. After charging is complete, seal the dust cover again. The typical charging time for the included ARB-L18-3400 battery is 3 hours with a 5V/2A USB source. During charging, the indicator glows red. Once the battery is fully charged, the indicator will turn green. The flashlight can be used in any mode except Strobe while charging, but depending on the battery's charge level, not all modes may be available, and the total charging time will be extended.
Battery level indication - When the flashlight is off, a short press of the button will activate the battery level indicator for three seconds. Green indicates a sufficient charge level (100% - 85%), flashing green (85% - 50%), solid red (50% - 25%), and flashing red indicates a critically low battery (25% - 1%). If the battery is low, the flashlight will automatically begin to step down to lower power modes. In the lowest mode, the battery level indicator will then flash red to alert you that the battery needs to be recharged or replaced. This only works with original batteries.
Intelligent Overheat Protection - When using the flashlight in high power modes for extended periods, a large amount of heat accumulates. When the flashlight reaches a temperature of 60°C or higher, it will automatically reduce the output by a few lumens to lower the temperature. When the temperature drops below 60°C, the output will gradually increase again.
Warning
- Do not disassemble the sealed parts in the head of the flashlight yourself, as this will void the warranty.
- Use only the high-current rechargeable Li-ion 18650 batteries mentioned above.
- If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after a long period of use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the flashlight will be properly protected against water.
- If the flashlight does not switch to higher power modes, flickers, or does not turn on, it may be for one of the following reasons:
- The battery is nearly dead – recharge it.
- The contacts inside the flashlight are dirty – clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
- The tail cap of the flashlight is loose – tighten it.
Warranty
Five-year warranty on the flashlight, two-year warranty on the battery.
