- Discover a hidden world with our guide to Fenix UV flashlights (here). We compare all current models from small EDC to professional extreme performance tools. Find out how ultraviolet light reveals invisible details and which flashlight is the right one for you.
The Fenix E06R PRO is a powerful flat rechargeable flashlight that pushes the boundaries of pocket EDC models. Compared to its smaller variants (Fenix E06R and Fenix E03R V2.0), it offers not only multiples of higher output but also a unique combination of features including a strobe, ultraviolet light, laser pointer, and innovative control. Despite its compact flat design, which fits perfectly in a pocket, it offers a high luminous flux of up to 1600 lumens (ANSI) and a beam range of up to 160 meters. The flashlight is equipped with a pair of top-tier diodes (Luminus SST20 and SFT25), allowing you to switch between a cool spotlight and a neutral floodlight beam. Power is provided by a built-in Li-Pol battery with a high capacity of 1650 mAh, ensuring endurance of up to 111 hours in the energy-saving Moonlight mode. Charging is handled by a modern USB-C connector directly on the flashlight body. The Fenix E06R PRO features five white spotlight modes, five neutral floodlight modes, UV light with a wavelength of 365 nm and a power of 1300 mW, a red laser (pointer), and several modes of so-called Breathing light - lights around the switch button and in the tail of the flashlight with an output of 0.5 to 1 lumen, which you can use for discreet signaling or identifying the flashlight's location. It is controlled via a side button, a toggle switch for spotlight and floodlight, and a tactical switch in the tail. The flashlight comes with a sturdy clip, so you can attach it to a pocket or backpack strap. A battery level indicator in the button is also practical. The flashlight is great for EDC, and thanks to its flat shape, you can always have it with you without it getting in the way.
All flashlight parameters (luminous flux, battery runtime, waterproofing, impact resistance, and beam range) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Usage
To turn on or off the white light, hold the main (neck) or tail button for roughly 0.5 seconds. The four basic power modes are then cycled by pressing the same button. Turbo mode is activated by holding the tail button for 0.8 seconds. Strobe can be activated by holding the main button for 1.2 seconds. Switching between the spotlight and floodlight reflectors is done by pressing the oval toggle button.
UV light is turned on and off by holding the purple button on the side of the flashlight for roughly 0.5 seconds.
Red laser is turned on and off by holding the red button on the side of the flashlight for roughly 0.5 seconds.
Colored button backlight and tail light - The 3D light ring around the main button incl. lights in the flashlight tail can be turned on by double-clicking the main button quickly when the flashlight is off. Subsequent presses of the button cycle through five functions – Red flash → Blue flash → Red and Blue flash → RGB light → Aurora. The light ring is turned off again by holding the main button for 0.5 seconds.
Memory for the last set mode - When the white light is turned on, the flashlight always activates in the last selected output mode.
The control buttons can be locked to prevent accidental activation, e.g., during transport in luggage - to lock, turn off the flashlight and hold the red and purple buttons on the side simultaneously for 2 seconds. The flashlight will then blink to signal it is locked. To unlock, hold the buttons again for 2 seconds.
Battery charge indication - with the flashlight off, press the main button once briefly; a small diode in the button will light up for three seconds. Green light indicates a battery charged to 100-85%, green flashing 85-50%, red light signals a battery charged to 50-25%, and red flashing indicates a battery charged to less than 25%. The number of available white light modes may vary depending on the current charge level.
Overheat protection - if the flashlight temperature exceeds 60°C, the output will automatically decrease. Once the temperature drops below 60°C, the output will increase again.
Low battery warning - the flashlight will automatically step down to the lowest power mode, and the indicator diode in the toggle button will begin to flash red.
Charging
- Connect the flashlight via the USB-C cable to a computer, USB wall adapter, or USB car adapter. Any mobile phone charger with a USB-C connector can also be used for charging.
- During charging, the indicator LED in the button lights up red; after full charge, it lights up green.
- Charging voltage: 5 V, max. charging power 5 W (5 V / 1 A).
- The flashlight can be used while charging, except for Turbo mode and colored modes. The number of available white light modes may vary depending on the current charge level.
- The battery used does not suffer from a memory effect, so the flashlight can be recharged at any time.
Warning
- Do not disassemble the sealed parts yourself; doing so will void the warranty.
- If the flashlight does not switch to higher power modes or does not turn on, the battery is dead - charge the flashlight.
Warranty
Two-year warranty.
