• The LED in the floodlight features a warm white light tint (approx. 3000 K) and a high CRI 94.5 (Color Rendering Index).
• After heating up, it maintains a higher output in Turbo and High modes compared to the standard version.
• Stable performance in lower modes without automatic step-downs.
• The flood beam has 4 output modes instead of 3, including an extra economical Eco mode with an output of 3 lumens.
• The lowest red light mode has been reduced to 3 lumens (ideal for discrete lighting). Conversely, the flashing mode has been strengthened to 15 lumens, and its frequency has been increased for a more effective warning function.
• Added memory function for the last used red light mode.

Thanks to a weight of just 144 grams (including battery and headbands), the headlamp will not restrict you even during a long run or a demanding trek. The construction is designed for the harshest conditions – it is fully dustproof and waterproof up to a 2-meter depth (IP68 standard) and can survive drops from a height of 2 meters without damage.

Power is supplied by the included top-tier Li-ion battery type 18650 with a capacity of 3400 mAh, which can be easily and quickly charged via the modern and waterproof USB-C connector integrated directly into the headlamp. Using the Fenix HM65R Topaz V2.0 headlamp

An insulating cap may be placed on the battery from the factory. Remove it before first use.

The spotlight is turned on by pressing and holding the right button (approx. 0.5 s), the floodlight is turned on by pressing and holding the left button (0.5 s). Lighting functions are switched by short-pressing the respective button. Both reflectors are controlled independently and can be turned on at the same time. The red light is turned on by double-clicking any button. A switched-on reflector or red light is turned off again by holding the respective button for 0.5 s.

Memory for the last set output mode - the headlamp has a memory and will always turn on in the last set mode for the spotlight, floodlight, and red light (except for the spotlight's Turbo mode, which for safety reasons always turns on in the second highest mode).

Battery charge status indication - After a short press of any button (the headlamp must be turned off) or after turning on the headlamp, the LED battery status indicator located between the buttons is activated for 3 seconds. Four illuminated LEDs mean the battery is 80-100% charged, three illuminated means 60-80%, two means 40-60%, one means 20-40%, and one flashing LED means the battery is charged to less than 20% (recharge the headlamp as soon as possible). Note: This function only works correctly with 18650-type Li-ion batteries.

Locking the headlamp against accidental switching on (e.g., in a backpack) - when turned off, press and hold both buttons simultaneously for at least 3 seconds. The headlamp will then flash four times in the lowest floodlight mode to indicate lockout. To unlock, both buttons must be held again for three seconds. Connecting the charging cable automatically unlocks the headlamp.

Overheat protection: During long-term use of the flashlight in high output modes, a large amount of heat is accumulated. When the headlamp reaches a temperature of 65 °C or higher, it automatically steps down the output to reduce the temperature. When the temperature drops below 65 °C, it allows the user to reselect high modes.

Low battery warning - When the voltage drops below a certain threshold, the headlamp automatically and gradually shifts to lower output modes. If this happens in the lowest mode and the battery status indicator starts flashing, the battery is almost empty and needs to be charged or replaced.

Charging

• Open the anti-dust cover and plug the USB-C charging cable into the headlamp's charging port. After charging is complete, carefully reseal the anti-dust cover.
• During charging, the four indicators gradually light up to show the charging status. When fully charged, all four indicators remain constantly lit.
• The standard charging time for a fully depleted headlamp is approximately 2.5 hours (using a 5 V / 1.8 A or more powerful USB source).
• The headlamp can be used while charging, but the charging time will be prolonged, and the highest mode (Turbo) is not available.

Warning

• Do not disassemble the sealed parts of the headlamp head yourself, as this will void the warranty.
• Use only high-quality 18650 Li-ion batteries with protective electronics.
• If using disposable CR123A or rechargeable 16340 (RCR123A) batteries, never try to charge them inside the headlamp! Do not mix batteries of different brands, ages, or capacities.
• If the headlamp flickers, does not switch to higher output modes, or does not light up, it could be for one of the following reasons:
  • The electronic lock is activated - unlock the headlamp by holding both buttons for 3 seconds.
  • The battery is depleted – charge or replace it.
  • The contacts inside the headlamp are dirty – clean them with a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol.
