Take your night rides to a whole new level with the uncompromising Fenix BC45R rechargeable bike light. This bicycle light features independently controlled wide and high beams, which can be combined as needed. With a dazzling output of up to 3300 lumens (ANSI) and a throw of 286 meters, you will turn night into day. A revolutionary new feature is the integrated OLED display, giving you a perfect overview of the currently selected mode and battery status. Power is supplied by two replaceable 18650 Li-ion batteries with a capacity of 3400 mAh (included), which can be easily recharged directly in the light via a waterproof USB-C port with fast-charging support.
The wide beam’s light cone smoothly illuminates the entire area in front of the bike, while the high beam reflector, equipped with a modern Luminus SFT-40 LED, reliably lights up distant obstacles on the road. For maximum comfort, the light comes with a wireless remote control that allows you to operate both reflectors and instantly activate the Turbo mode. The quick-release mount enables tool-free installation on all standard handlebars with a diameter of 22 to 32 millimeters. Moreover, the light can be easily unclipped and used as a handheld flashlight. With its premium aircraft-grade aluminum alloy construction, the Fenix BC45R is resistant to rain and impacts, making it your reliable partner for night training, adrenaline-pumping downhills, endurance races, and daily commutes.
All flashlight parameters (luminous flux, battery runtime, waterproofing, and beam distance) are measured according to the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

How to use the Fenix BC45R bike light
The light is equipped with two buttons on the top – the left one for the high beam and the right one for the wide beam. To turn a specific reflector on or off, press and hold the corresponding button for about 0.5 seconds. Once the light is on, you can cycle through the output levels with short presses. The light remembers the last selected steady mode (except Turbo and Flash).
Locking the light: When the light is off, quickly double-click either button. The light will flash twice in the lowest mode, indicating it is locked to prevent accidental activation (e.g., in a backpack). Repeat the process to unlock.
Pairing the wireless remote: Before first use, the remote must be paired. Press and hold any button on the light for 5 seconds. "Connecting" will appear on the OLED display. Then press any button on the remote control. The display will show "Pair?" – confirm the process with a single press of a button on the light. "Connected!" will display to indicate successful pairing. This process only needs to be done once; the pairing will remain in memory.
Operating with the wireless remote: The remote features buttons for both high and wide beams (functioning just like those on the light) plus a function button with a lightning bolt symbol. A short press of this button while the light is on instantly activates the TURBO mode (3300 lm). Double-click the function button to activate the warning Flash. Another press returns you to the previous mode. If you press and hold the function button for 1.5 seconds, the light enters Sleep mode and the display turns off. To wake it up, simply press any button. If left in sleep mode for more than 2 hours, the light will turn off completely.
OLED display and battery indicator: When the light is turned on, the display activates, constantly showing the brightness level, selected mode, and battery icon. If battery capacity drops below 10%, the battery icon will start flashing to alert you that charging is required. For safety reasons, the light will automatically limit the maximum available output to 200 lumens for the high beam and 50 lumens for the wide beam to ensure a safe ride to your destination.
Intelligent overheat protection: If the light heats up above 55 °C, it will automatically and gradually step down the output. Once it cools below 50 °C, the output will increase again.
Charging the light
- Turn off the light and open the rubber dust cover on the bottom. Plug the USB-C cable into the light's charging port.
- During charging, the OLED display shows a charging icon. Once fully charged (and the cable is disconnected), a full battery icon will be displayed.
- After charging is complete, be sure to carefully seal the dust cover to maintain water resistance.
- The charging time for completely depleted batteries is approx. 3.5 hours (when using a 9 V/2 A fast-charging adapter).
- While charging, the light can be used in Eco/Low/Med modes for the wide beam and Low/Med for the high beam. However, this will extend the charging time. The wireless remote control cannot be used during charging.
Replacing the batteries in the light
- Turn the lock on the tail cap towards the "OPEN" logo and pull the battery case out of the light.
- Insert both 18650 batteries according to the marked polarity on the case. Mixing batteries of different ages or capacities is prohibited!
- Slide the battery case back into the flashlight body. Once the case is flush, secure it by turning the lock away from the "OPEN" logo.
Replacing the battery in the remote control
- Insert a coin into the slot on the back of the remote and turn counterclockwise to open the cover.
- Replace the CR1632 battery. Pay attention to the correct polarity.
- Put the cover back on and secure it by turning clockwise with a coin.
Warnings
- Do not disassemble the sealed parts of the light yourself; doing so will void the warranty.
- During high-output operation, the light generates a significant amount of heat. Avoid touching the hot body of the light.
- If the light flashes or does not turn on, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The batteries are depleted – charge or replace them.
- The contacts on the connectors or inside the battery case are dirty. Clean them with a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol.
Warranty
Five-year warranty on the light, two-year warranty on the batteries.
