The tactical rechargeable flashlight Fenix TK22R PRO offers a maximum output of up to 4200 lumens and a beam distance of 440 meters. Three Luminus SFT-42R LEDs paired with a triple smooth reflector provide enough power to illuminate distant objects as well as large areas. Power is supplied by the included 21700 Li-ion battery with a capacity of 5500 mAh, which is charged directly inside the flashlight via a USB-C port protected by a flip cover. With a suitable fast-charging adapter (9 V / 2.9 A), it can be fully charged in just 1.5 hours.
The dual tail switch and the FlexiSensa control toggle switch allow you to quickly select the operating mode or lock the flashlight to prevent accidental activation during transport. In Duty mode, you have four brightness levels, a runtime of up to 35 hours on the lowest setting, and instant access to Turbo. Tactical mode allows you to switch between maximum and eco outputs and instantly activate the strobe (3000 lm). The battery status can be easily checked using the indicator on the tail cap. The durable IP68-rated aluminum body is complemented by a strike bezel featuring three tungsten steel tips for emergency glass breaking. The dual-spring internal structure ensures a stable electrical connection even under heavy firearm recoil, making this flashlight ideal for professional armed forces, search and rescue teams, and hunters.
All flashlight parameters (luminous flux, battery runtime, waterproofing, beam distance, and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/PLATO FL 1-2019 standard.

Operating the Fenix TK22R PRO
There may be an insulating cap on the battery inside the flashlight from the factory. Remove it before first use.
Operation: Press the tactical tail switch to turn on the flashlight (half-press for momentary on, full click for constant on). Click it fully again to turn it off. The smaller functional button is used for switching modes and instantly activating special functions. Use the FlexiSensa control toggle switch to select between modes: Duty Mode – Lockout – Tactical Mode.
Duty Mode: The flashlight turns on in the last selected mode. Click the functional button to cycle through Eco – Low – Med – High. Press and hold the functional button for 0.5 seconds to activate Turbo mode (4200 lm), which remains on even after you release the button. A single click on the functional button returns the flashlight to the previous output. From the off and unlocked state, you can activate momentary Turbo by pressing and holding the functional button.
Tactical Mode: The flashlight turns on in Turbo or Eco mode. Click the functional button to switch between these two modes. Press and hold the functional button for 0.5 seconds to activate the Strobe (3000 lm). A single click on the functional button returns it to the previous output. From the off and unlocked state, pressing and holding the functional button activates the momentary Strobe.
Lockout: Switching the toggle to the middle position turns off the flashlight and locks it to prevent accidental activation in a bag or holster. If the tactical switch remains clicked (in the ON position), moving the toggle from the locked position to either of the modes will instantly turn the flashlight on.
Battery Level Indication: With the flashlight turned off, click the functional button. The indicator on the tail cap will show the status for 3 seconds: green (100–85%), flashing green (85–50%), red (50–25%), flashing red (25–1%). If the flashlight is locked and the tactical switch is fully clicked, the indicator will stay on until the tactical switch is released.
Charging: Turn off the flashlight, flip open the USB-C port cover, and plug in the cable. The flashlight supports both 5 V and 9 V charging, with a maximum power of 26 W. With a suitable fast-charging adapter (9 V / 2.9 A), a depleted 5500 mAh battery can be fully charged in approximately 1.5 hours. The red indicator LED shows that charging is in progress, and turns green when fully charged. The flashlight cannot be turned on during charging. Once charging is complete, unplug the cable and securely close the cover.
Overheat Protection: When operating at high output levels for extended periods, the flashlight will accumulate heat. When the temperature reaches 60 °C or above, it will automatically step down the output. Once the temperature drops below this threshold, the output will gradually increase again.
Low-Voltage Warning: If the battery voltage drops below the preset level, the flashlight will downshift to a lower brightness level. Once the lowest output level is reached, the flashlight will blink three times every five minutes to remind you to recharge or replace the battery.
Warning
- The manufacturer recommends Fenix ARB-L21 series 21700 Li-ion batteries, such as the ARB-L21-5500, ARB-L21-5500U, or ARB-L21-5000 V2.0. Use only high-quality batteries with protective circuits. Do not use 18650, 16340, or CR123A batteries.
- Insert the battery with the positive pole facing the head of the flashlight.
- Do not shine the light directly into the eyes. At high outputs, the flashlight body will get hot; exercise caution and do not place the head of the flashlight near combustible objects.
- During transport or storage, turn off and lock the flashlight, or remove the battery entirely to prevent accidental activation.
- If the O-rings show signs of damage, replace them and lubricate them regularly.
Warranty
Five years warranty on the flashlight, two years on the battery.
