The compact Fenix HL18R-TV2.0 rechargeable headlamp features a practical dual-reflector design, up to 800 lumens (ANSI) and reach up to 125 meters. The reflectors produce well-focused light beams that shine far and near at the same time. The main reflector shines with a cool white light of approx. 6500K (daylight white) and the secondary reflector shines with a warm white light of approx. 3000K (the cones cannot be combined, however). The warm light penetrates fog, rain and snow better, so you can use it especially in bad weather conditions. The main reflector offers four light modes and a maximum luminous flux of up to 800 lumens, the second reflector offers a maximum output of 500 lumens and you can also choose from four light modes. The headlamp also features a red light, red SOS flash and a whistle integrated on the strap for emergency situations. Power is provided by a replaceable Li-ion battery with a capacity of 1900 mAh, which is charged via a USB-C connector directly in the headlamp. The battery can be removed and replaced in an emergency with three AAA batteries (they cannot be recharged in the headlamp).
Like other Fenix trail headlamps, the HL18R-T V2.0 features a strap with Sport Fit System with a single wheel for easy length adjustment. This allows you to quickly and comfortably tighten the headlamp on your head with one hand. The strap is also perforated and equipped with reflective elements to ensure good passive visibility. Thanks to its lighter weight and construction, the headlamp is particularly interesting for trail running, cycling and skiing. It is also suitable for other sports activities (hiking, climbing, camping, fishing...). Guaranteed to serve you well in every situation!
All parameters of the headlamp (lumen output, battery life, waterproofness, throw and shock resistance) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

Using the headlamp
On/Off and mode switching - White remote spotlight is turned on by holding the right button (approx. 0.5s), spotlight with warm white light is turned on by holding the left button (0.5s). The headlights cannot be switched on at the same time, but can be easily switched between them by pressing the button of the opposite headlight. The headlamp is switched to red light when switched off by pressing any button twice quickly. The light modes are switched by briefly pressing the button of the illuminated headlight. The light is switched off again by holding the corresponding button for 0.5 s.
Lock/Unlock- Lock: Slide the lock switch down in accordance with the mark, the headlamp will flash 4 times in low warm white light mode to indicate lock. If the headlamp has been switched on, it will automatically switch off when locked. Unlock:Slide the lock switch up according to the mark, the lamp will flash 4 times in low warm white light mode to indicate unlocking.
Memory for last set power mode - The headlamp has a memory and will turn on in the last set power mode of the corresponding reflector.
Battery Replacement - Open the rear battery cover and insert the battery(s) in accordance with the polarity markings. Replace the rear cover.
Charging - flip off the dust cap and plug the USB-C charging cable into the headlamp charging port. Replace the dust cap when charging is complete. Normal charging time is 3 hours with a 5V/1A USB power supply for a fully discharged headlamp. During charging, the headlamp can only be used in low mode of any spotlight. Four indicators light up and flash gradually during the charging process. Four permanently on indicates that charging is complete.
Battery Charge Status Indication - After briefly pressing any button (headlamp must be off), the LED battery charge status indicator between the buttons will activate. Four lit LEDs indicate that the battery is 80-100% charged, three lit 60-80%, two lit 40-60%, one lit 20-40% and one flashing LED indicates that the battery is less than 20% charged. The indication only works with the original battery .
Intelligent Overheat Protection - When using the headlamp on high power modes for a long time, a large amount of heat accumulates. When the headlamp reaches a temperature of 55 °C or higher, it will automatically reduce the power by several lumens to reduce the temperature. When the temperature drops below 55 °C, the power will gradually decrease again.
Drained Battery Warning - If the battery voltage drops below the set level, the headlamp will automatically switch to a lower mode until it reaches the lowest power mode. When the lowest power setting is reached, the battery charge indicator will flash to remind you to recharge or replace the battery in a timely manner. Only works with the original battery.
Head Strap - The head strap is assembled from factory. Turn the dial counterclockwise to tighten the strap. Turn the dial clockwise to loosen the strap. Further rotation of the wheel after the strap has been loosened as far as possible will start to tighten the strap again, reversing the direction of loosening and tightening.
